From the Garden Clubs of Illinois

Environmental Studies Program
Garden Studies Program
Flower Show School
Civic Development

All of the above are educational programs that are open to all garden club members and to the public. Each study program has four separate courses in total. A certificate is awarded upon successful completion of all classes, written exams and other requirements.

It is not necessary to take the written exams for any of the study programs if you do not wish to receive a certificate. You may take the course for the knowledge without receiving a certification.
Go to or check out “Garden Glories” Magazine and “The National Gardener” Magazines for dates, times and places of each study program.
